All The Glitz and Glam at the FEMALE Cover Model Search 2016 Finale Party!

If you missed our Cover Model Search 2016 gala event, here’s what went down.

We scouted hundreds of candidates, narrowed the list down to the top 20, got you to vote for your favourites, and it all came down to the moment of truth on Wednesday night. With over 400 guests, 20 finalists and spectacular performances, the winners were announced and we partied hard like it was Friday!

Check out the highlights of the night!

All-girl quartet from Swag Studio Project kick-started the party with major swag-poppin’ moves on the stage. The crowd went wild as the ladies dropped their mad ‘polyswagg’ dance routines that kept the audience in utter awe and envy (how we wish we could bust those kinda moves!).

You’ve heard him, and we love him! Internationally renowned violinist Dennis Lau gave a stellar performance with his electronic violin that evening. All eyes and ears were glued to Dennis’s fluid fingers that seemed to fly over the strings in the first act. Still entranced, we were even more thrilled when he came down from the stage to join the crowd while performing Love Never Felt So Good by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

Four of our finalists – Asyraf Ali, Borhan Boulandier, Azim Kadir and Mohd Yusuf Tony – were paired with four spunky women from the crowd in a fun game. With prizes up for grabs (courtesy of our friends at Senzues and Zalora), the ladies had to give their best sexy dance moves for the ‘poles’, who were more than happy to cooperate *wink wink! The crowd went wild and cheered for their favourite pair.

Of course, the ultimate highlight of the evening had to be the announcement of our Cover Model Search 2016 winners! We say congratulations to Asyraf Ali and Nur Eleena Hamzah for getting themselves all glossed up on our December 2016 cover! What a way to end 2016, huh? It sure was a tough call on our end to pick the winners, but looking at how Asyraf and Nur Eleena carried themselves and their model-esque abilities to captivate us in photos, it was a well-deserved win!
