1. Let yourself loose in the comfort of your hotel
Travelling shouldn’t be a stressful task and on days when you want to take things easy, lazing in the hotel might be the relaxation you really need. Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit started off with a pleasant greeting of the hotel’s signature warm chocolate chip cookie upon check in and a glass of refreshing drink to rehydrate our body after a long travel.
Did you know? The DoubleTree by Hilton’s iconic chocolate chip cookie is officially on the International Space Station and set to become the first food baked in space!
Apart from the amazing panoramic city view, our room was tastefully decorated to optimize comfort with comprehensive in-room amenities including a 43-inch flat-screen HD television and mini bar. Besides that, we also took the opportunity to pamper our worn out body with a floral and citrus bath to rejuvenate and restore energy! At times when we fancy having a short exploration around the city, the hotel’s location makes it very convenient to travel around since it’s close to two BTS stations, Nana and Ploenchit, and just within walking distance to a few shopping centers and bars.
If you’re up for a short exploration around the city like a local, the hotel recently introduced their brand new #CookieTrailBKK, a tried-and-tested itinerary curated by local content creator Karn Chatikavanij “Jam”. Born in Thailand and educated in England, Karn (also known by her nickname “Jam”) is instrumental in putting together two cookie trails for DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit’s guests: the Girls’ Getaway Cookie Trail and Couple’s Bliss Cookie Trail. Combining her knowledge in Bangkok’s hot spots and travellers’ behaviours and needs, both trails offer guests a localized travel experience different from the stereotypical online travel suggestions.
