5 Coloured Sandy Beaches to Add to Your Travel Bucket List

Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Indonesia

How about underwater snorkelling at a beach that blushes when light hits it? YES, PLEASE! Just across the waters in neighbouring Indonesia lies Komodo Island. It’s not only known to be the home of earth’s largest lizard, the Komodo dragon, but also for its pink coastline at the Komodo National Park. Let us tell you that the combination of the colour pink and it being on the beach is sort of… #dreamy! The beach gets its colour from the white sand and fragments of red corals near shallow waters. This is one of seven pink beaches in the world and one of the best diving spots with its crystal-clear waters. You don’t have to worry about crowds cos the area is fairly isolated.
