Go matchy-matchy in this sweet hue!
But first, to everyone who’s unaware what Galentine’s Day is, no one explains it better than Leslie Knope herself:
In the sitcom Parks and Recreation, Leslie and her girlfriends would gather round every year on February the 13th, all dressed up and ready to revel in each other’s company. It’s a day where ladies celebrate ladies; filled with presents, love stories and great meals.
Sounds wonderful, right? It’s a PSA to schedule at least an hour or two with your girl squad to catch up on life and more importantly, to celebrate (girl)friendship! This special occasion now has a name, thanks to Leslie: Galentine’s Day.
I’ve handpicked a line-up of items that hold the spirit of Galentine’s. On the plus side, they’re pink, comfy and ready to be shared or matched (think Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). Enjoy:
Even if you can’t free up space on February the 13th, no pressure – any day’s great. It’s the thought that counts! You can even plan to meet up on the next two Saturdays and call it a Galentine’s month.
While you’re at it, score a cute meeting place too!
