A classic is a classic but sometimes it’s fun to bring new life to it with a tweak here and there. Bringing a modern take to the brand’s most iconic styles, Tommy Hilfiger digs into its rich archive, taking familiar designs that we all love and giving them a fresh update. Think oversized Oxford shirts, a colour-block parka and a gold puffer jacket (we’re totally in love with them!).
The all-American brand showcased the full set of designs at its recent extravagant show in Shanghai in September (re-watch the show here). Showcased against the spectacular Shanghai skyline, we saw the iconic ‘stretch’ flag logo across the collection which has been refurbished in a minimalist gold design. 2018 trends made popular by the millennials definitely influenced the style and silhouettes that we see today.
And who better to front the campaign than the brand’s recently-appointed global ambassador and highly influential model, Hailey Baldwin and model and activist, Winnie Harlow. Tommy calls them the icons of tomorrow as part of the Tommy ICONS crew, Tommy Hilfiger explained that both are leading the way for the next-gen of Tommy women marching through everything with confidence and optimism. “These shared qualities and values are why I’m excited to welcome them into our family,” said the designer.
