What happened in Bangkok with Pomelo, stays in Bangkok!
In conjunction with the release of Pomelo’s SS20 collection yesterday, I was given the opportunity to fly to Bangkok with the brand last week and have a peek of their upcoming collection (psst.. spot our very own, Asia’s Next Top Model alumni, Tuti Noor in this campaign). The brand that’s known for their range of silhouettes filled with frills, ruffles, florals and pastels made me unleash my girlie side. I was thrilled to be able to get the first-hand experience of what’s about to be released and while we were in Bangkok, I had the chance to spend time with the Pomelo girls from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore as well. These are some of the fun things that I did as we spent time together on this trip!

Read on to find out some of the items that I picked from Pomelo’s latest collection and how I styled the pieces together.
Day 1: City Explorer
On our first night in Bangkok, we had the chance to pick out our pieces from the collection and styled them together as we went for dinner. To make things more exciting, dinner was served inside a moving bus and we got a chance to admire and tour this city that’s filled with heritage and culture. Besides the local delicacies that tasted so good (I’m still not over the infamous Michelin-Star Pad Thai served by Thipsamai), I wanted to experiment with my outfits. So I matched a contrasting puffy-sleeved blouse with a pair of paper bag shorts. The romantic lavender shade no doubt did create an overall ensemble that looked whimsical.
