In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Poplook has collaborated with Siti Saleha and Cancer Research Malaysia to design a limited edition 8-pieces collection as part of the brand’s ‘Poplook Gives Back’ initiative. Now in their third year, the annual philanthropy initiative aim’s to give back to society through fashion.
Each piece is decorated with chrysanthemum flower – a symbol of long life, good luck, and hope – in a neutral palette of white, beige, black and blue garments. They’ve also subtly incorporated the pink ribbon into the design which makes it even more special.
Through the sales from the collection, 30% of the total will be donated to Cancer Research Malaysia to help initiate works, social opportunities and for research and development.
Did you know that 50% of cervical cancer is preventable? and 20% to 60% of women are likely to get Breast cancer? Cancer continuous to claim its victims but we and our tough and hardworking ladies over at the Cancer Research Malaysia, won’t stop and will not stop spreading the importance of early detections through self-checks or through a doctor and they most certainly are doing their very best to look find the cure.
