Monki Is Here For ‘All The Feels’ With A Mental Health Campaign

Monki is back with impact and this campaign is something you should know about.

Monki is no stranger to fashion with a cause. This time, their “All The Feels” campaign teaming up with Mental Health Europe to raise awareness about the effects of social media on the mental well-being of the youth of our generation.

Have you ever felt worse about yourself after scrolling through your Instagram or Facebook feeds? Well, guess what? No one is alone in this situation. Which is why Monki wants empower young women on the importance of discussing this topic between one another–  something we stand behind too!

The campaign revolves around the life of three influencers; Elyse Fox (founder of Sad Girls Club), body-positive model Emily Bador, and Instagram artist John Yuyi. Here, you can hear their views on the topic of mental health as well as what positive and negative effects that social media can have on you. Elyse Fox is a New York based filmmaker, activist and founder of Sad Girls Club, a community that provides women with a safe space to talk about their mental health. She shares her experiences on how to deal with social media-induced anxiety.

Manchester-based model and advocate for body positivity Emily Bador has been collaborating with Monki many times in the past. For this campaign, she openly shares how social media changed the way she looks at herself.

New York based, Taiwanese born John Yuyi takes social media and turns it into art. She talks about the difference between Yuyi the online persona and Yuyi the real-life person.

In conjunction with this campaign, Monki has also released a special 3-piece capsule collection to raise awareness on what they stand for, consisting of bucket hats, hoodies and scarves. With three colours to choose from, you can express and let people know how you feel with their interchangeable velcro word badges.
