1. Lady Gaga’s tribute gown

All eyes were on the A Star is Born actress when she made an entrance at the red carpet in a pale blue-lilac shade Valentino Haute Couture gown that left us all feeling “YAAAAASSS GAGA!”. Hailing from the brand’s Autumn-Winter 2018 Couture collection, the billowing dress featured a voluminous train that required two people to carry.

While the dress was definitely a showstopper, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot the resemblance it has to a gown worn by Judy Garland in the 1954 version of A Star is Born, suggesting Lady Gaga’s possible tribute to the star.

However, the singer revealed she was actually oblivious about the similarities in looks when speaking to Entertainment Tonight.

“We didn’t say that. No, but it looks an awful lot like that, doesn’t it? She looks beautiful. This is Valentino Couture custom creation for me. That’s special, except I’m missing the gloves. Thank you for showing me that. It made my night,” said Lady Gaga.

It may be a coincidence, but the public is still swooning over the fact that Lady Gaga absolutely slayed the red carpet today.
