This month, we saw lots of announcements on new shows to keep an eye on, as well as some music dropped by anticipated artists. In case you haven’t noticed, here are the top six entertainment happenings you need to keep yourself updated with before we bid goodbye to August.
1. Charlie Puth returns with “I Warned Myself”
If you’re an avid Spotify listener, chances are you’ve already listened to Charlie Puth’s newest single, I Warned Myself. The multi-GRAMMY nominated singer-songwriter made his triumphant return to the music scene with the song alongside Brendan Vaughan-directed video. Tauntingly mesmerizing, the song pairs a pulsating bassline with Charlie’s signature silky falsetto and candidly bold lyrics.
I Warned Myself marks the first new release from Charlie since his 2018 GRAMMY-nominated sophomore album Voicenotes. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and received an RIAA gold certification within four days of release!
