It’s time to highlight our absolute favourite makeup looks and artists. In our Beauty Faves, we’ll share a look, tip or artist that forever changed our makeup game.
One of our favourite actress, Battle of the Sexes star Emma Stone sashayed to the 75th Golden Globes today in a beautiful black Louis Vuitton dress (fit for the occasion) but did you know that her on-point makeup look had a symbolic meaning behind it?
NARS Director of Pro Artistry and Red Carpet, Rachel Goodwin, told PeopleStyle that Emma’s look wasn’t just beautiful but it had a strong message behind it in support of the #TimesUp movement – a protest against sexual violence as well as gender inequality in the workforce.
“Once I heard about the idea of women coming together and wearing black to the ceremony, and the message behind it, my friend Arianne [Phillips] designing the Time’s Up pin and what the message is, I wanted the makeup to have a message as well,” she said.
