The British Fashion Awards were held this year in London’s Royal Albert Hall, where Giorgio Armani was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award and in attendance to lend her support was model Barbara Palvin, one of the faces of Armani beauty.
Barbara looked beautiful as always in a black Armani gown, but what stole our hearts were her piercing eyes, perfectly emphasised with a smouldering, smoked out shadow. The rest of her deceptively simple makeup really allowed her eyes to shine!
Her glowing complexion, the result of Armani Prima Glow-On Moisturising Cream and Eye & Lip Contour Perfector creating the perfect moisturised base for the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, a favourite among stars. Barbara is no exception. “It’s the most perfect coverage; it’s not too much, or too heavy. It gives you a natural glow. It’s very easy to apply, I usually just put it in my hands like a moisturiser,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
To further even out her complexion, Barbara’s team opted for the Power Fabric Concealer, followed by highlight and definition with the Neo Nude A-Highlight and Contour.
The focus of the look was undoubtedly the smoky, sultry, slightly glittering eye, which Barbara chose specifically to match the sparkly sleeves of her Armani gown. The Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette #1 lent just the amount of smoke and colour, with the Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in Ice along the inner corners to add the glitter Barbara requested. Finally, the look was deepened with the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil all around the lid and water line and the Eyes To Kill Classico Mascara.
To finish off the look, Barbara’s team skipped her usual red in favour of a simple near-nude wash of Lip Maestro– the perfect colour to draw attention to the eyes!
