Yes, multi-purpose; meaning they don’t only hold your hair back but they’re capable of various hairstyles and can be quite the ‘weapon’ in several life hacks. 6. USE A MAGNETIC STRIP TO HAVE YOUR BOBBY PINS READY

Whether it’s for a wedding (as a guest) or a romantic date, this hairdo will match the occasion perfectly and luckily, it’s really easy to do. You will however need a curling iron or a hair straigtener if you don’t have wavy hair. Then, just take a section of your hair and pin it loosely away from your face. Repeat on the other side.

22. PIN BACK YOUR BANGS – SIDE TWIST

Twist your bangs towards one direction and secure it with a bobby pin. Alternatively, you can also tuck and pin it under a thick section of your hair instead to hide it.

Here’s a triple twist to pinning your long bags; divide them into three sections and twist each part inwards before securing them in place with a bobby pin.

Do a French braid with your bangs to the back and pin it beneath the top section of your hair to hide it. Voila!

25. BOBBY PIN UPDO

You’ll need two bobby pins and hairspray. Spray a little bit of hairspray as you twist your hair into a knot. Fluff up your crown for volume and spray again. Twist the leftover tail and pin it with the knot. Use a second bobby pin to create an ‘X’ for stronger hold.

26. KNOTTED PONYTAIL

Divide hair into two sections and tie it into a knot. Then, divide it into three sections for a short braid while pulling towards the center. Pin the knot and braid together in place using two to three bobby pins.

27. ELEGANT HALF UPDO

This works great for medium-length hair! Take the top part of your hair at the crown and pin it at the back of your head with two pins horizontally. Be sure to push it up a little to create a tiny bouffant before securing it in place. Then, take a section at the side and cross it over the first two bobby pins and secure it by sliding a pin vertically (and upwards). Repeat on the other side and vice versa about three to four times. If there are any strands sticking out, just push them inside the half updo to hide it.

28. MINI TWISTED UPDO

Who said having short hair means having limited hairstyles to do? For this hairstyle, just divide your hair into four sections. Twist each one into a knot and pin it in place with the ‘X’ bobby pin buddy system. For a tighter hold, spray the pins with hairspray.

29. FAUX UNDERCUT

Avoid the risk of regretting an undercut hairstyle by faking it! Comb your hair to one side, resulting in a deep side part. Then, spray a bit of hairspray on a fine tooth comb before smoothing the “shaved” section against your scalp. Secure that section beneath the crown of your head and under the top layer of your hair with bobby pins. Voila!

Just write or draw out the greeting on a plain piece of paper or cardboard, add your message and decorate it with a fancy schmancy bobby pin!
