2. Gunung Irau
“I’ve always loved hiking. While some people hike just to get to the peak of the mountain and for its view, I’m in because of the luscious greenery and fresh air I get to breathe when I’m one with Mother Nature. However, the humidity in the forest is one of the reasons I love to hike up Gunung Irau (also known as Mossy Forest).
Since young, I’ve been visiting this place and I still remember the dainty orchids and pitcher plants that are located 2,110 metres above sea level where you start to feel closer to the clouds. The trail extends over two kilometres and if you’re visiting this place, be sure to capture all the breathtaking photos you can get.” – Yi-Di, Senior Web Writer
