Winter illumination is a signature part of winter — namely because the sun sets so early, and the lights keep shoppers out and about. But did you know you don’t have to wait for winter just to see them? A short drive away in Shah Alam, i-City is a family theme park that is also known as the City of Digital Lights for its spectacular light shows made up of millions of LED lights! In this 72-acre space, you’ll find the Snowalk, one of Malaysia’s largest indoor snow parks. Climate-controlled at below 5 degrees Celsius with 100mm of snow underfoot, it features activities such as snowman-making, ice-sliding and tobogganing, igloos, and over 100 tonnes of ice sculptures shaped by a team of 30 artists from Harbin, China.
