With its pristine white beaches, beautiful luxury villas and breathtaking temples, it’s no secret that Bali is the epitome of paradise. But did you know that Bali has a fabulous shopping scene too?

From hidden gems in Seminyak to surfer-chic shops in Canggu and high-end boutiques in Nusa Dua, Bali offers plenty of choices for any fashionista to get their style fix. We caught up with the travel-savvy (and shopaholic) gals of TheLuxeNomad.com who clued us in on their favourite shopping hot spots on the island of the gods. You’ll be packing Bali’s lovely treasure trove from head to toe in no time!

Thaikila Bikinis (various locations)
Leave your tired old bikini at home cos Thaikila Bikinis has you covered with unique and colorful bikinis perfect for soaking up the Bali sun. Each store has its own concept, but our favourite is Seminyak’s which features sleek and dreamy décor inspired by Bali’s clear blue waters. Previously known as Blue Glue Bikinis, the refreshed brand has an amazing selection of signature suits to show off your sandy cheeks.

Tulola Jewelry
(Seminyak)
Tulola is a charming little boutique on the corner of Petitenget in Seminyak that breathes new life into the age-old art of the silversmith. Designed by New York-born Balinese designer Sri Luce Rusna, the pieces are contemporary and forward-thinking yet hand-crafted by traditional techniques, incorporating various precious and semi-precious stones. We especially love their subeng earrings which easily add a touch of modern-vintage sophistication to any outfit.

Bamboo Blonde
(Seminyak)
Bamboo Blonde is an Australian-based designer with a storefront in Seminyak that offers Bali-ready ensembles such as maxi dresses and playsuits, plus affordable accessories to complement your look. Their chevron beach bag and embroidered dress are must-haves for a day at the Potato Head Beach Club, and we’re head over heels for their playful prints and boho skirts. We heard they’re expanding to homeware soon!

The Offering
(Canggu)
We never go to Bali without paying a visit to The Offering which specialises in “all things summer fabulous”. This chic and sleek boutique is full of designer finds such as Natasha Gan, Prism and Taje, not to mention stunning home decor, jewelry and yummy scented candles, so you can bring the spirit of Bali home to your own abode. The Offering also has stylish active wear that’s perfect for all the yoga classes you’ll want to take on your holiday!

ODD Original Design & Delight
(Canggu)
ODD is a multi-purpose studio that’s hard to miss with its striking criss-cross exterior building. The space houses an interior design studio, a cafe and an amazing boutique offering socially-responsible designer labels. The studio’s concept is driven by its name (different, original, unusual, singular), so you’ll be sure to find a collection of one-of-a-kind items crafted by local artisans. If shopping’s not the only thing on your mind, you can savour some delightful rotisserie and kombucha at the cafe, or enjoy an art exhibition in their cozy backyard.

Flow & Yonder
(Canggu)
Need something to do while you’re not surfing Echo Beach? Flow & Yonder was made for surfer-girls offering a mecca of the best surf brands like Rip Curl and Reef, plus a great selection of bikinis and second-hand surfboards. We recently got a fab Duderina bag here for the ultimate beach bum look. The shop was founded by the wife of a professional surf photographer (you can buy his prints!) and she always has great local advice if you’re keen to explore Canggu. You can also chill out at their cafe and enjoy some Malaysian roti canai (a rare find in Bali!) while soaking in a view of the beautiful rice paddy fields.

Paul Ropp Shop
(Jimbaran)
If you’re heading down to one of Uluwatu’s legendary clifftop resorts, make a pit stop at Paul Ropp Shop to pick up some of the designer’s signature resort wear. Designed with Bali’s tropical weather in mind, everything is made with hand-woven cotton, silk or lightweight fabrics. The dresses can easily be worn over a bikini at the beach, then dressed up with jewelry for a relaxed dinner at night. We love the fun patterns and interplay of fabrics!

Bali Collection
(Nusa Dua)
If you’re staying in Nusa Dua, Bali’s most exclusive enclave, you might not want to leave your luxurious resort (and we don’t blame you!). But if you’re itching for some shopping, head over to the Bali Collection shopping complex where you’ll find a wealth of luxury stores under one roof such as Ralph Lauren, Giordano and Indonesia’s largest department store, SOGO. The Loco Cafe is a great place to satisfy your post-shopping spree hunger pangs!
