When you’re at the age of 75, social media is probably the last thing on your mind (what more when you’re not digital savvy to begin with), and this Korean grandpa was exactly that. Residing in Brazil with his wife and his daughter’s family, his daily activities include sending his grandkids to and from school, but when his daughter decided to move back to Korea with her family, watching Korean dramas became his only activity all-day every day.

His daughter and his son, Lee Ji, a designer who’s living in New York, found it worrisome. Remembering that their father used to draw, Lee had a brilliant idea to introduce Instagram to his father so he could showcase his drawings on the media platform, and have more things to occupy him with. Unlike his wife who is far more familiar with apps such as Facebook and Instagram, Grandpa Lee was initially very against the idea. But with the help of Lee’s mother, he relented in the end. Find out how in the video below!

Hint: Heartstrings will be tugged!

It’s a full spring time in Korea. It’s suppose to be autumn in São Paulo, but it’s a strange weather here and it feels like summer. I think there will be lots of people going to the beach soon because tomorrow is a national holiday Tiradentes day.

You guys must have seen this drawing before. Since the old days, on the first full moon in the new year, ladies come together, hold hands in a circle and went round and round singing: “Gang-gang-sul-re, Gang-gang-sul-re, the moon is going up, the moon is going up. Korea’s “Gang-Gang-Sul-Re” has become Unesco’s humanity’s cultural heritage.
