If there’s any place on the east coast that can offer the best of both worlds, Bukit Keluang (Keluang Hill) in Besut, Terengganu is definitely high on the list with its beautiful combo of caves, hills and a white sandy beach.
At the bottom of the hill, you can have your usual beach activities (snorkeling, kayaking, wind surfing, building sandcastles, swimming, etc).

Coz the breathtaking view at the top will be WORTH it.
2. Pulau Lang Tengah
Not so into aerial views? Also near the coast of Terengganu, Pulau Lang Tengah (Lang Tengah Island) is located just in between
the more mainstream Pulau Redang and Pulau Perhentian.
Its main features? Crystal clear water, white beaches, and an untouched tropical jungle.
It’s a protected zone with beautiful coral reefs that are teeming with marine life, making it one of the best places for scuba diving and snorkeling. In fact, there are chances of encountering turtles and sharks as well!
3. Pulau Kapas
Off the coast of Marang (south of Kuala Terengganu) sits Pulau Kapas (Kapas Island), another gorgeous island that is known for its clear blue waters.
It’s also popular for its white sandy beaches and shady palm trees. Ah, doesn’t it sound blissfully relaxing already?
