All 23 flavours of the brand’s iconic macaroons will be available at this new kiosk.
Another part of Kuala Lumpur just got a lot sweeter with the opening of Ladurée, the Parisian tea room famous for its delightful macarons.
Situated on the first floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre, the new tea salon is the first-ever Ladurée kiosk in the city to serve pure indulgence of sweet delicacies to customers.
All 23 flavours of the brand’s iconic macaroons such as Chocolate Lavender, Pistachio and Rose, as well as delectable pastries will be available at this new kiosk.
While it won’t serve up a full menu of hot food similar to the first outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, customers can still indulge in the brand’s global bestselling French toast, namely the Ispahan French toast, Vanilla Cacao French toast, Classic Maple Syrup and Chantilly and very soon, the Salted Butter Caramel French toast.
As a destination for the finest teas and cakes, customers can look forward to pampering their palates with the Ladurée Afternoon Tea that includes a fine selection of sandwiches, classic and Marie-Antoinette scones, macarons and more. For the very first time, the brand also introduced butter croissant and brioche in the menu for both outlets.
Ahead of the official opening of Ladurée’s second outlet in Bangsar, I had the opportunity to indulge in some of their sweet delectable and it was certainly a trip down memory lane and back to Paris.
“For someone who has travelled to Paris multiple times and tasted some of the best macarons from Ladurée Paris, my visit to Laduree Malaysia was filled with lots of high expectations and they certainly didn’t disappoint!
I had the opportunity to sample three macaron flavours: Blackcurrant Violet, Pistachio and my all-time favourite, Rose. The Blackcurrant Violet delivers a sweet and tangy taste that tickles the taste buds while the Pistachio boasts a nutty tone that’s sweet yet savoury. Undoubtedly one of the best flavours I’ve had, the Rose macaron has a distinctive floral scent that tastes refreshingly sweet.
In case you’re wondering how Ladurée Malaysia maintains the quality and standard of their macarons similar to the ones in Paris, all the macarons are actually flown in directly from France! Oh, and did I mention that their tea blends are an absolute must-try? Their Marie-Antoinette tea blend made of Chinese black tea, citrus and rose petals boasts an exquisite and elegant flavour you’ll never forget.” – Elaine, Digital Writer
The tea room will also be carrying the brand’s exquisite retail merchandise which includes scented candles, room sprays, shopping bags, flavours of teas and the latest collection gift boxes. To celebrate the milestone of its second outlet, the Bangsar outlet will be serving up an exclusive Rose Chocolate Millefeuille for a limited time.
