6 Upgrades That Make The Dyson V11 Absolute Different From Its Predecessor

Want to know what makes this new cord-free vacuum stand out? Here’s why we think the Dyson V11 is worth a splurge!

While we might have been blown away by the V10 when it was launched last year, it is this new model that has us feeling really lucky to be living in an age where doing house chores can be as fun as watching TV. Okay, maybe not AS fun but close enough. That said, give Dyson another few years and they’ll probably come up with a device that’ll be MORE fun. Mark my words, you heard it here first!

The Dyson V11 Absolute was first unveiled back in May, and to be honest, my first impressions upon seeing it were pretty average. I even thought to myself why they would bother to release a new one when it looked exactly like the old model. Turns out, I shouldn’t have judged a book by its cover because after having the chance to use it for myself, only did I realise it was packed with cleaning superpowers I never knew existed.

1. It’s powered by a new digital motor

Yes, the older V10 could suck, but boy, does it fail in comparison to this new model. Delivering a total of 185 air watts, Dyson’s new digital motor V11 which spins at up to 125,000rpm, promises 20% more suction power than the Dyson Cyclone V10 vacuum.

In layman terms, suction is increased and noise is reduced.
