Put aside 10 minutes off your busy schedule and see the difference it can do to your body.

The festive season is here and we all know what that means – FOOD! Some of you might be able to but for most of us, it is a li’l hard to make time for the gym whilst being surrounded by all the yummy snacks and hearty meals.

So here’s another solution… why not work out in the comfort of your own home? Sharonallen, the training manager from Bodytone Studio assures you that “if you’ve got 10 minutes to spare, you’ve got a good workout.” We picked Sharon’s brains and here’s what she thinks is the best way to go about making sure you don’t gain any extra weight this festive season.

Short blast of intense exercise can boost metabolism for the entire day more effectively than a workout that’s slow and steady. You don’t need a gym membership. You don’t need fancy, expensive equipment. You don’t even have to leave your bedroom if you don’t want to! Blast training is a type of exercise that you can do anywhere, anytime. Blast training is also suitable for any individual who has a busy routine. It’s simple and everyone can give it a shot.”

These are the six best exercise routines recommended by Sharon. You can either choose to focus on one particular exercise or you can go ahead and creatively mix and match the exercises listed below to make up 10 minutes. (PS Remember to include a 15-second rest in between each workout before starting a new set!)
