Mark your calendars because the famous Artbox flea market is returning to Malaysia again!
Known for its unique concept that features a set up with multiple industrial containers, the famous Bangkok pop-up flea market Artbox is coming back this September.
With plans to be bigger and better than its predecessors, this year’s edition is themed Artbox Malaysia: Assemble and will once again piece together unique and creative retailers, food and beverage vendors, as well as musicians and artists from around the region to form a holistic and one-of-a-kind curated experience. Whether it’s thrilling experiential activities or fashion retailers, visitors can expect a unique range of installations and artisanal goods at the event.
“We are all set to make Artbox Malaysia even more memorable than last year. We hope visitors from all walks of life from Malaysia will be intrigued and entertained with Artbox’s unique installations and immersive experiences. Artbox Malaysia will be filled with countless exclusive activities, games and art installations from local artists that we know will be exceptional. Back by popular demand, Artbox Malaysia 2019 will be marked as an experience like no other,” said Kent Teo, founder and chief executive officer of Invade Industry Singapore.
Inspired by nostalgic childhood games such as Tetris and Jenga, the set up will feature its signature containers stacked and arranged to form captivating structures surrounding the vicinity. Just like its predecessor, food enthusiasts can be ready to feast at the event with over 300 booths selling local and regional cuisine.
The instalment will be taking place at Sunway City Kuala Lumpur’s outdoor open-air carpark once again on 6th– 8th and 13th– 15th of September 2019 from 3pm to 11pm. With less than three months left to go, Artbox will soon be announcing their vendors and lineup so do keep an eye out on their Facebook, Instagram and website for more information.
