Rejoice, Pusheen lovers! The world’s very first Pusheen cafe will be opening next year, and it’s within reasonable travel distance from Malaysia!
The animated feline is a bubbly grey cat that became an internet sensation particularly for its sticker set on Facebook. It was created in 2010 by American couple Claire Belton and Andrew Duff.
The cafe will be popping up only for a limited time from 6th of January 2019 to March 2019 at Kumoya in Singapore, a Japanese-French inspired cafe that previously collaborated with other sensational characters such as Care Bears and My Little Pony.
The interior of the cafe will be decked out in pastel colours and Pusheen decorations exclusively designed by the lovely grey cat’s own creator, Claire Belton, and her team of designers. It’s going to be a Pusheen paradise!
Apart from the highly-anticipated cafe design, one can also expect sheer cuteness from the menu. It will feature Pusheen-inspired mains, desserts and beverages specially designed by celebrity food artist, Shirley Wong (@LittleMissBento) and the Kumoya kitchen team. Shirley had also previously worked with Kumoya to design menus for their Care Bear and Tokidoki pop up cafes.
Here are some highlights of the menu that’s making us drool.
