Looking for a quiet spot in the heart of Bukit Bintang to dine at just before work starts or to catch up with an old friend during tea time? We’d recommend Le Petit Rococo.
Located at the side of Starhill Gallery near the famous Bintang steps, this small café-like restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The side entrance to this place can be a little tricky but once you’re inside, you’ll be amazed at its décor.
The dim lighting and pink walls that are filled with unique paintings is exactly what you need to get you ready to face the day or calm your stressed mind out. Known more for their sandwiches, we decided to try other delights on the menu and these came out tops:
1. Zuppa Verdure
One thing I loved most about Le Petit Rococo is that everything is made from scratch. This creamy homemade asparagus soup was probably the best thing I’ve tried in the longest time. It was thick, smooth and good to go as a light lunch by itself. It came along with a slice of wholemeal bread and garlic parsley butter that almost instantly melted in my mouth. The combination of the bread and soup opened up my taste buds and got me all excited to try the next thing on the menu.
