These neon signs made its debut on my Instagram feed and that’s when I knew I must pay this bar a visit.
The Mojito Man has a relax yet modern interior design for a bar – equipped with their own handmade neon light designs displayed on the wall with curated artworks. Rajiv, a partner of this hidden gem was kind enough to chat with us on explaining his concept and future ideas for the bar. Maybe by the time you make your next visit, their latest neon signs will be up!
Let’s just say that this is the perfect way to kick start your weekends for a pre-drink session with your best mates. Located in the heart of KL City, TREC is a well-known destination for party-goers. Imagine this: a cocktail in hand, a perfectly curated playlist in music and a chilled environment for some good conversations? This is the place to be! With classic cocktails at a starting price of RM25, we were sold! First off, the Frozen Mojiyo we tried was filled with rum, vodka, mint leaf and limoncello, sounds refreshing right? Next up, the Long Island Lizzard (pretty self-explanatory) was not only delicious but reasonably priced too, I mean, RM30 for tasty cocktails? Count us in!
Next up, we tried one of their best sellers called ‘The Green Lantern’. Don’t be fooled by its pandan colour for a drink cos it definitely packs a bunch. We didn’t know what to expect when we saw “egg white” as a part of the ingredient but hey, you couldn’t even taste it after your first sip!
Do you want to know what else is convenient? If you’re a fan of Sangrias, Classic Mojitos and Long Island – well this could be your next take away drink for you. For RM19, we think it’s pretty cool to make people think you’re taking a sip of your “iced tea” for a pre-drink take away before the get down.
Our verdict of this little gem? We’re coming back for sure and this time it’s for their speciality drinks packed with secret ingredients! Are you curious yet? Drop by this weekend and check it out. You won’t regret it.
