Hopping foodies will definitely be familiar with the Instagrammable approach new cafes are opting for now, but it seems that a cafe in South Korea has taken the trend to a whole new level.
With only a month after opening its doors in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do, Cielo 957 is now attracting a massive crowd thanks to its outdoor stairway leading towards the sky. Fans of Korean dramas may relate it to the 2003 television series Stairway to Heaven which pioneered as the start of the Korean Wave, but a closer look also shows the resemblance to the stairway to heaven in Goblin.
Considering how picturesque the spot is, you can certainly expect a long queue of customers waiting to snap some pictures of them walking towards the sky.
With a stunning view of lights shining the stairway at night, it’s undoubtedly a dreamy place for a photoshoot. However, the stairway abruptly cuts off at the top and there are no safety rails at the side, so it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted or those who have a fear of heights!
While many customers flock to the cafe for a photo opp at the stairway, the cafe itself doesn’t lack too as lots of thoughts were put into its beautifully-designed interior. Boasting a modern and minimalistic space, the cafe creates a cosy environment for customers to unwind and spend quality time with their loved ones. In fact, almost every corner of the cafe is totally Instagram-worthy as well!
With a calming view of the river and delicious fares such as pastries and coffees, it surely is the ultimate cafe to relax. And you know, snap a photo for the ‘Gram.
