6 Hotel Dinner Buffets To Dine In This Ramadhan Season

Prev1 of 6

Time surely flies and in a blink of an eye, the holy month of Ramadhan is quickly approaching with only less than a month to go. It’s the season where many Malaysians look forward to feast together with a scrumptious spread of cuisines and local delights, and one of our favourite ways to do so is to enjoy a good buffet spread while relishing the companionship of many.

From traditional Malay cuisines to delectable desserts, here are six hotel Ramadhan buffets you can bring all your friends and family to for a delightful feast.

1. Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Presenting a complete local experience with over 150 dishes, the buffet menu at JP Teres features a selection of Malay, Chinese and Indian flavours. The extensive buffet set-up spreads from indoor to the outdoor dining area of the restaurant, with more than 20 live-cooking and buffet stations including slow-cooked Kambing Golek carving station, grill stations and Nasi Kandar station available to serve you a feast.

“I had expected a huge feast of traditional Malay cuisine only for the buffet so it was really great to see a wide variety of Chinese and Indian cuisines available. While I don’t normally return for the same food at a buffet, I couldn’t help it with the Kerabu Perut, Salad Sotong, Ayam Percik and signature Chicken Varuval! They’re all a must-try! How I wish I could have more of them.” — Elaine Loke, Digital Writer

The dining experience switches from day to day, with the grills firing up every Friday and Saturday for Barbecue Nights, and freshly prepared seafood-on-ice such as assorted oysters, tiger prawns and crabs served every Sunday.
