You Can Now Start Recycling Your Old Clothes With GUESS Recycling Campaign

Don’t just throw away your old clothes; give them to GUESS!

GUESS has partnered with Kloth Cares in an attempt to extend the life of old clothing and shoes and therefore reduce textile waste. Their resulting wardrobe recycling program began on Friday, March 1st, 2019 and will run until Tuesday, April 30th, 2019.

Reusing and recycling saves resources and allows valuable raw materials to be reprocessed, ultimately helping to protect our environment. Through Kloth Cares’ innovative retail take-back system and worldwide infrastructure, wearable items will get a new life as secondhand goods.

Unwearable items on the other hand, will be resourced into new products like cleaning cloths or blended with other materials to produce engineered fuel for cement kilns.

Recycle bins will be placed at 8 GUESS stores in Klang Valley by March for customers and the public to recycle their unwanted clothing. You’ll get RM50 iff your purchase when you recycle 5 pieces of clothing.

The first batch of these clothing will be sent to Raffles Kuala Lumpur for the final year students to reuse, recycle, and remake it into new fashion pieces. The top 10 ready-to-wear pieces which were given a new life by students will be showcased in June 2019.
