Trend to Try: Pool slides

It’s never too late to get on the trend!

First made popular by Adidas, the pool slides have been around for a while now, but it wasn’t until Rihanna launched her Fenty Puma by Rihanna fur slides that the “ugly” sandals are making a trendy comeback.

Spotted on many A-listers and street-style stars, you may be skeptical about the trend, but one thing’s for sure – don’t hate it until you try it! I happened to have some time in between events the other day and decided to head to the store (they’re stocked at Sole What) to check the footwear out, and came thiiiiis close to buying them because they were light and oh-so comfy! In the end, I couldn’t justify spending RM199 on a pair of casual slides, so I walked out of the store (sadly) empty-handed.

If you wanna take on the trend, for starters, wear your pair with sleek separates to avoid looking frumpy or unpolished. Alternatively, you can tune up the edge (without forgetting a touch of femininity in a fashionable slip dress!).
