The Beauty Editor’s New York Fashion Week SS19 Style Diary

A personal round-up of what Sarah wore on her recent trip to New York!

First of all, let me just say that boy, am I glad to be home! The last week was nothing short of intense, which started off with a long 21-hour plane ride and ended the same way. Needless to say, I’m in dire need of catching up on my sleep. But not before I do a little recap of what I did, and the outfits I wore while they’re still fresh in my mind.

Day 1: Feeling pink

On a day-to-day basis, my style is pretty minimal. I mostly wear muted tones, black or white, or both together. Some might call it boring, but it’s just my personal style. I mean, Victoria Beckham is always wearing white shirts, isn’t she?! But in honour of the first show that I will be attending, which was Kate Spade New York, I wanted to wear something a little more girlie yet still sophisticated at the same time. Having checked the weather forecast, which said that it was going to be pretty warm over the next few days, I picked this pink striped jumpsuit, which looks really fun yet had just a touch of serious office vibe to it. I then paired it with grey suede mules (because I wanted to avoid my feet hurting) and a leather crossbody bag so I can keep my hands free.
