What’s your #FossilStyle?
How do you choose your accessories when you know you’ll have a hectic day ahead? Do you wear them to complement your look just like every other day or keep it simple with just a watch? The busy lifestyles we lead can sometimes get too overwhelming that we just put on the bare minimum in the morning, forego the little details and hope we make it through the day smooth and easy.
With Fossil’s Summer 2018 collection, choosing between form and function is no longer necessary as the label has incorporated total functionality and more into each of their pieces. Among them are their iconic smartwatches which gives us a better control of our day with features like GPS, calendar notifications, to-do lists and so much more!
Showing us how it’s done are three women who each live strenuous lives, juggling their career and personal life at the same time. Check out the video below and their individual videos to see how they’ve made Fossil their own.
Hailing from Subang Jaya is celebrity chef Anis Nabilah who has been in the kitchen since early in her childhood. Her passion for food has brought her to great heights, which in turn gives her a packed schedule with meetings, cooking shows, shoots and events. With her Q Venture accompanying her, she’s able to brave through her day with ease using smart features like the discreet notifications – coming in handy during work, Google Assistant to help her to stay on track on a busy day, and the multiple timezone settings that’s really helpful when she travels. Paired with her smartwatch is the ‘Ryder’ satchel, but don’t be fooled; it may look small but it’s got enough space for all her valuables!
Web developer by day, art enthusiast by night and full-time mum, Gladys Yuwono-Lim of Gladys Stories does calligraphy, watercolour art and journaling in her free time. Although balancing her personal life and hobbies may seem like a struggle, Gladys’ Q Control keeps her in check with features like the GPS as she’s required to travel around the city frequently. As she also holds workshops and sets up meetings with clients, checking her agenda from her watch instead of her phone easily became her lifesaver. On days she’s out for some inspiration, she brings along her ‘Camilla’ backpack which lets her store all her art tools and essentials.
A florist based in Cheras, Jesslyn Tan is no stranger to grueling days. Starting with an online business two years ago, her venture J.Flowie now provides more than just bouquet orders such as workshops and event decorations. Complete with the ‘Maya’ hobo bag, she breezes through her day of sourcing flowers, holding workshops and prepping for events by making use of the customisable buttons on the Q Neely hybrid smartwatch. A feature that’s she frequent uses is the controlling her music and capturing photos with just a push of a button. She’s also easily notified of incoming calls, messages and even appointments letting her always stay above the water.
