It’s a new monogram era for this Parisian brand!
When we think of monograms, we usually think of a motif comprised of a few letters to create a memorable symbol or logo. But that’s not the case for this Parisian label. If you caught Longchamp’s Fall 2019 runway show in New York, you’d have notice a bold new print in black and white letters. Well, that code-like print is, in fact, Longchamp’s new monogram that’s about to redefine the brand!
With the main focus of the collection being Longchamp’s journey of self-rediscovery, it’s created the ‘Longchamp LGP’ which breaks all the rules of a traditional monogram and gives a fresh and energetic image to the already fun and modern brand. The street-like design takes inspiration from Bauhaus elements, New York’s maze-like city and Andy Warhol’s eye-popping effect while staying true to Longchamp’s cosmopolitan and contemporary spirit. Take a peek at the new collection featuring none other than Longchamp’s spokesmodel Kendall Jenner!
The collection contains an array of categories ranging from clothing to accessories of unisex designs. For bags, the Le Pliage® LGP line features an all-over monogram print on it’s iconic nylon totes and travel bags, including new essentials like sleek backpacks, stylish fanny packs and versatile multi-style pouches for the urban traveller. The Le Pliage® Cuir LGP, on the other hand, shows off the monogram appliquéd on the line’s butter-soft leather and debuts a chic vertical tote with long handles. Both lines come in two colourways to choose from: black and white with a splash of neon and black and red with a hint of white.
Other accessories and ready-to-wear pieces are also dressed in the ‘Longchamp LGP’ monogram like the relaxed sweatshirt embroidered with the logo, slip-on neoprene sneakers and sunnies in an all-over print. Check them out here.
Already obsessed with the range? We are too! Luckily, the collection is scheduled for an early release in May 2019. Stay tuned to see what else ‘Longchamp LGP’ has in store when it hits!
