It’s no surprise that most of our wardrobe is occupied with black and white outfits, but perhaps it’s time to switch things up a lil’ and add a splash of colour to our personal style.
Infusing modern designs and an air of sensuality, the runway at Cipriani during the New York Fashion Week was full of vibrant colours, leopard prints and colourful hues as Kate Spade New York presents their Fall 2019 collection. Let’s just say that we were absolutely marvelled and wished we could have them all in our wardrobe!
As the brand’s new creative director, Nicola Glass made her second big splash at the show, her sophomore runway collection focuses on the new house codes she introduced for the Spring collection — always keeping the brand’s core DNA in mind — while staying true to the brand promise of “optimistic femininity”.
“This season, I started by imagining raiding an insanely glamorous woman’s closet, and the rich, eclectic mix you’d find that you could make your own. For Fall 2019, I was inspired by the idea of a woman’s closet and the thought of where clothes end up rather than where they originated. I envisioned women who are looking for clothes that are spirited, feminine and fundamentally effortless,” shared Nicola.
Through fluid silhouettes, bold use of colours and fresh takes on novelty, the brand’s core concepts were evolved with new takes on sophisticated design techniques.
Here are some of our favourite styles from their lookbook!
