On Instagram, live from Coachella!
Designer collabs are often exciting enough that the actual announcement doesn’t get much spotlight. But H&M just upped the game in that department big time to announce their upcoming haute couture collaboration with Moschino!
The announcement was presented as a live call from Gigi Hadid to Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of the iconic Italian design house. The call was projected on screens at Moschino’s annual Coachella party and broadcasted live on H&M’s Instagram account, taking fans by surprise. To add to the hype, both Jeremy and Gigi were dressed in the first looks from the collection, officially titled MOSCHINO
Jeremy is known for his exuberant design sense, blending pop culture icons with high fashion. For his collaboration with H&M, expect his same signature brand of vitality, playfulness and humour in pieces for men and women, as well as a full range of accessories and some extra surprises!
“I am so excited about MOSCHINOH&M. My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.” – Jeremy Scott
While not much has been revealed yet, Jeremy promises is that it will be fun and full of colour and cartoons. “Like all my collections, it’s humour meets haute couture meets the street,” he says.
