‘When all your friends are engaged and you’re in a committed relationship with your Gucci watch’
Gucci recently revealed a collaborative art project that revolves around the millennial world of Memes. The campaign, #TFWGucci, which stands for ‘That Feel When Gucci’, ‘is all about the moment of putting on one of the watches when the world suddenly becomes different and time slows down a little bit.’ as explained on their website.
They’ve gathered a group of viral meme-creators like Amanda Charchian, Olaf Breuning, Less and Christto & Andrew and more together with international artists to create curated images combining art and witty meme-worthy captions featuring the Le Marché des Merveilles collection of watches. It’s a creative (and humorous) way of staying in the loop of the internet culture and a clever idea to get people talking.
