Is this the prettiest window display or what?
Instead of going down the predictable Christmas-y route with the festive colours, Gucci’s latest window-design concept for its Gift Giving 2016 campaign takes inspiration from the Gucci Garden (Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s previous flora-and-fauna capsule collection).
The display, which combines many contrasting elements (that combine harmoniously) highlight the aesthetics that define the Italian brand today.
The Gothic window arches is a reminiscence of the Cruise 2017 fashion show venue, while the floral wallpaper provides a romantic feeling of the Gucci Garden.
Spotted: roaring lion heads on the walls, and ants and snakes “play” with the brand’s arm candies. Accessories are given the “center stage” – being displayed on embroidered cushions on benches.
Velvet mannequins are used to showcase the brand’s latest collection.
Pink windows for women’s collection, light blue for men, and green for unisex RTW and accessories.
