Daring, sophisticated and bright pink – those are the three significant features that identify Nicki Minaj’s fashion style and that’s exactly what FENDI’s new capsule collection is all about.
For the next chapter of the FF Series, the Italian luxury fashion house teams up with Nicki on an explosive, flamboyant drop for women’s, men’s and kids: FENDI Prints On. The rapper, singer, and songwriter who’s considered an outstanding fashion icon thanks to her bold, frisky sense of style, has worked with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the design team to create this capsule collection which is deeply rooted in FENDI’s iconic and playful DNA.
The new line pays tribute to Nicki’s 2018 fourth studio album, Queen’s lead single, Chun Li, which suggests the name “Fendi Prints On”. A space-like, futuristic inspiration meets high-end glamour in the collection drop, where the iconic FF logo all-over pattern is combined with metallic, shimmering surfaces and rich textures. The eye-catching collection of ready-to-wear and accessories showcases body-hugging silhouettes juxtaposed with oversized puffers and coats, as well as eccentric and street-style accessories like the legendary Peekaboo and Baguette bags, sunglasses and sneakers.

Shot poolside in Los Angeles by Steven Klein, the campaign centers around Nicki Minaj with models surrounding her, suggesting they’re part of the FENDI Prints On tribe. Looking strong and powerful, the shots flawlessly embody the style of the capsule, which comes to life with the colours, textures and silhouettes.
Apart from the collaboration with FENDI, the rapper also took the chance to collaborate with PnB Rock and Murda Beatz to release a new single titled Fendi, where she reiterates her love for the luxury fashion house.
The FENDI Prints On capsule collection will launch on fendi.com on October 14 and will be available in 52 FENDI boutiques worldwide starting October 16, including the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur outlet.
