#1 Japan: TAAKK
Japanese designer Takuya Morikawa spent seven years designing for Issey Miyake before making it on his own. He debuted his 2017 collection, themed around the idea of breaking down borders and combining influences that have shaped Japanese fashion and culture, at the Tokyo Autumn runway show this year. Takuya doesn’t shy away from bold baroque prints, eye-catching colours and the use of different textures such as fur, sequins and velour. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this Saturday!
