If this year’s race and after-race shows were any indication, it’s that the one next year is going to be so much more epic!
I know that 2017 hasn’t even ended yet, but if you’ve witness the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix like I did this year, you’d know that it’s an event worth planning ahead for. Remember the golden rule: the earlier you make your bookings (be it flight, accommodation or in this case, grandstand tickets), the cheaper they’re going to be. Plus, Malaysia will no longer be hosting the race from next year onward, so the closest city we can head to for all the adrenaline rush is our neighbour down south.
As luck would have it, race organiser Singapore GP announced last week that from now till 8th May 2018, 11 ticket categories will be available for purchase during the Early Bird phase, including the three-day Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand, Zone 4 Walkabout, Pit, Padang and Stamford Combination Packages, single-day Sunday Pit Grandstand as well as single-day Padang Grandstand and Premier Walkabout (from S$128).
Fans of the night race can also enjoy up to 28% off regular ticket prices under the Group Booking Specials for eight ticket categories – the three-day Pit, Bay, Connaught, Padang, Stamford, Empress, Esplanade Waterfront Grandstands and three-day Premier Walkabout tickets (from S$258).
However, for all of you who’ve never attended the night race and are on the fence on whether you should even spend so much money just to see cars fly by, read on as I try to convince you that this is one event you should definitely experience at least once in your lifetime.
