Our Favourite Looks From The 2018 Golden Globes Awards

Prev1 of 5

The 75th Golden Globes’ red carpet was one of the best yet.

It isn’t an awards show without the red carpet! As the stars turn out in full glitz and glam, the red carpet is the perfect place to show off their finest looks and statements.

And given the charged atmosphere in Hollywood at the moment, tonight’s Golden Globes was in a more serious mood than usual as celebrities used it as an opportunity to speak up and draw attention to the causes close to their hearts.

1. Everyone In Black

Emma Stone and Billie Jean King

Kerry Washington

Meryl Streep and Ai-Jen Poo, director of the National Workers Alliance

Angelina Jolie

Michelle Williams and Tarana Burke, founder of the #MeToo movement and senior director of Girls for Gender Equity

Amy Poehler and Saru Jayaraman, co-founder of the Restaurant Opportunities Ceneters United

Dakota Johnson

Claire Foy

Issa Rae

Lena Waithe

Margot Robbie

Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain

Tracee Ellis Ross

Zoe Kravitz

All-black outfits dominated the red carpet, and for good reason. In support of Time’s Up‘s – an organisation of over 300 women in the entertainment industry who are campaigning to end sexual harassment and gender inequality in the industry – #WhyWeWearBlack campaign, the stars turned out in all-black outfits. It was an inspiring and powerful thing to see!
