Newcomer An Seo Hyun plays Mija, the young star of South Korean director Bong Joon Ho’s Netflix-distributed film Okja. Mija is a farm girl from the mountains of South Korea who discovers the surprising lengths she’s willing to go to in order to protect the one she loves most: her best friend and massive pig-like animal named Okja.

Watch the trailer here!

When Okja is abducted by a nefarious multinational corporation, she embarks on a journey across the globe that stretches her geographical and emotional boundaries, unleashing an unexpected inner strength that rivals anything else you’ll see this summer.

Seo Hyun’s action-packed performance brings Mija’s badassery to life! Along the way, she goes from jumping into streams and through glass windows, to hanging from tree branches and the side of a truck racing down in downtown Seoul.

Watch her, along with co-stars Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal and Director Bong Joon-Ho, discuss this summer’s smallest superhero in this exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette.

Okja will launch on Netflix and in select theatres in New York & Los Angeles on June 28. Follow @netflix and @OKJAnetflix for more #Okja updates.
