Meghan And Prince Harry’s First Dance Was A Classic Dance Anthem By Whitney Houston

You never forget your first dance on your wedding day, and for the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan it was a dance to remember!

Telegraph UK reported that the couple skipped the slow first dance for their reception and opted for a groovy dance anthem by Whitney Houston ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)‘ (ours too!).

The 1987 hit song has a special place in Meghan’s heart as it’s her go-to ‘happy song’ and what better way to play it on her special day with somebody who loves her, right?

Hopefully one day they’d release a video of their first dance together because according to ET Online, the reception was super exclusive and heavily-guarded with only close family and friends which they all had to surrender their phones before entering. (*cries*)

We bet everybody had a blast at the Frogmore House not only did they play a Whitney classic but they also had Idris Elba spinning the decks as one of the DJ for the night. Elton John had a slot as well and guests also got down to some House music curated by DJ Sam Totolee. The VIP-only party was hosted by non-other than James Corden.

The night ended with a bang as a firework display lit up the night sky at the Frogmore House.
