The main look for CHANEL’s 2017-18 Fall-Winter Haute Couture Show Backstage was a fresh departure from the normally muted, earthy colours of the colder seasons.
To create the striking eye look, makeup artist Tom Pecheux used Chanel’s Ombre Premiere eyeshadow in no less than 5 different shades from their 2017 Eyes Collection. Rich primary colours applied in a color block-esque mannerand artfully blended made the models look like they were wearing works of art on their lids– which is something we’ve tried and whole-heartedly recommend!
Wanting to keep the focus on the eyes, the rest of the face – from brows to skin and lips – were kept simple with touches of foundation, concealer, and powder. Brows were lightly filled in and set with gel. And that gorgeous nude lip? Rouge Coco in the shade Daylight, which you can expect from their 2017 Fall/Winter Collection.
And here’s a close-up of that magnificent eye look!
