Transform Your Lips With Make Up For Ever’s New Artist Rouge Collection

Have an indescribable love for lipsticks? You’ll want in on this!

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all in term of lippies, along comes Make Up For Ever’s new collection of Artist Rouge Lipsticks, in 46 impressively-intense shades, to help you show off your bold, exuberant and luminous self. Boasting eight-hour wear for the cream texture and up to 10 for matte, each shade provides the utmost in comfort with incredible colour payoff.

What makes the collection even better is its artistic collab with Swedish girl duo ICONA POP. Driven by a shared passion for the stage, Make Up For Ever and ICONA POP bring together the world of makeup and music. Band members Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo add their personal signatures to two of their favourite limited-edition Artist Rouge lipsticks.

Here, we chat with ICONA POP’s makeup artist, Colby Smith, who has helped the band maintain their punky-meets-pop edge throughout the years.

In three words, describe what it’s like working with ICONA POP?

“Party, Fun, Love.”

What do you love about the new Artist Rouge collection?

“I love that we created transformative colours. You really can create a custom lip color that’s perfect for your look and style.”

If you could pick three colors for Caroline and three for Aino, what would they be and why?

“That is just too hard! The great thing about these lip colours is they really are for everybody. You can add any aqua lip liner to any color and really create the perfect shade out of all the lipsticks.”

What’s been the biggest surprise in the life of a makeup artist for a powerful girl group such as ICONA POP?

“That I’m not a morning person. That was a big surprise to me. Other than that, each day is a surprise. You really have no idea what the day will bring. Its exciting to work with powerful girls and really get to create fun looks that match them and their personalities.”
