In case you’re struggling with applying eyeshadows, we’re here to guide you.
Let’s get real: applying eyeshadow can be a daunting task with the range of brushes out there (e.g.blending, crease or angled brushes) and the techniques too. Just remember, there’s no hard and fast rule but practice makes perfect!
✓ Experiment with colour. Neutral and earthy colours are foolproof, but the occasional purple smoky eye lets you switch things up from the usual.
✓ Use an eyeshadow primer before applying colour, especially if you have oily lids. Primers work wonders in helping your eyeshadow stay put.
✗ Go overboard. Leave swatches of bright blue eyeshadow paired with hot pink for the runways (unless you’re attending an ‘80s-themed party).
✗ Pile on the blusher if you’re sporting a heavy smoky eye. Keep it subtle to avoid looking dated.
