In conjunction with its 5th anniversary, Posh! Nail Spa raised RM20,000 to benefit the Pink Unity organisation.
Inspired by the story of a woman who wore red lipstick to her mastectomy to make her feel in control despite being physically weak, Founder and Director of Posh! Nail Spa, Sereen Eng, decided to host a gala event last month in honour of the Pink Unity Organisation, a focus group for women cancer survivors, under the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM).
“Be it something as small and intangible as lipstick or freshly-painted nails, it can still give someone a positive boost at the scariest moments of their lives, especially for women going through trials and tribulations of everyday life. I believe that a simple human touch such as getting them a manicure can put a smile on their faces.” – Sereen
The main highlight of the event? Posh! Nail Spa hosted the country’s very first Nail Fashion Show, which was even recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records! Participating in the show were a super-talented mix of local fashion designers including Melinda Looi, Orson Liyu, Leslie Variyan for Variante, Carven Ong and Celine Ooi for ELEUSIS, who all collaborated with Posh! Nail Artists for unique nail designs.
