Must-Watch: 3 Looks To Try With The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

And the winner for the eyeshadow palette of the year goes to….

Phorography: Urban Decay

There was a whole lot of buzz online way before the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette was launched and that’s simply understandable; anything the brand does gets us beauty junkies eagerly waiting (remember the Gwen Stefani collab?!).  Now, being the fifth palette from the Naked eyeshadow series, this one features warm hues (hence the name ‘Heat’) such as shimmery copper, orange, bronze and rusty browns – rich and sexy colours to help illuminate the complexion – and we can’t help but be smitten. The shadows, comprising seven mattes and five shimmers, are super pigmented with an almost cream-like finish, making them easy to blend and stay on for long hours. Our absolute favourite of the lot is the shade Scorched, a metallic deep red with gold micro-shimmer, and it really looks great for a fun night out.

For the launch party of this palette in Kuala Lumpur, Artist-In-Residence for Urban Decay, Amanda Rodriguez, dropped by and we managed to squeeze in a chat (and a video tutorial!) in her super-busy schedule. Check out her tips to creating three transitional day-to-night looks using the palette. Click play and happy trying!
