There’s only so much we can do with our lashes – volumise it and/or lengthen it. We’re taking our lash game up a notch (maybe higher) by donning on the Autumn/Winter 2017 beauty trend – coloured lashes as seen at Emilio Pucci.
The thing about applying coloured lashes using those coloured mascaras is that it doesn’t show up as bright and as true as the colour it offers. But we’ve got the trick to do it! We copied the beauty Pucci look and experimented with green hues to coat the lashes but you can be as creative as you want and experiment with different colours.
Here’s how to get the look!
Step 1: Scrape a bit of green eyeshadow and collect the excess and place it a small shallow container with some clear mascara.
Step 2: With a spatula mix the two together to create a paste.
Step 3: Using a clean spoolie, coat the wand with the DIY green ‘mascara’ and coat your lashes.
Step 4: Go over your lashes about 2 to 3 times to really get the colours to pop!
Tip! If the colours aren’t showing up as bright as you want it too, here’s what you can do. Whilst the ‘green mascara’ is still wet, take an eyeshadow brush and pat some green eyeshadow on the lashes.
