Many have long craved for the American cult favourite skincare and makeup brand -with seriously satisfying aesthetics, Glossier, to ship outside of US and Puerto Rico giving everyone an easier way to get their hands on coveted products. Well, founder Emily Weiss announced in a written statement that they will be opening its doors internationally!
The brand will open its doors country by country – Canada is the first, then followed by UK and France. No exact date has been announced but those in Canada can already start adding products to their carts later this month.
The reason behind the intentionally slow stages is to nurture each new community. Ever since Glossier was launched in 2014, the idea was to start a community and build a special bond between the brand and customers offering them a beauty movement that celebrates real girls, in real life.
“Our message has always transcended borders and cultures and is central to who we are as a brand. With that in mind, every time we launch in a new place, we want to get to know every new market just as well as we’ve gotten to know our US crowd over the past few years,” says Emily Weiss.
So what’s next after France? You can be the one telling them! Although there’s no guarantee yet but, Glossier will work to make the brand available globally.
On that note, Glossier is a cruelty-free brand, therefore, they’ve strictly stated that they will not make their products available to countries that require product testing on animals. Kudos!
