When the world first heard of aegyo-sal, the deliberately drawn on puffy eye bags popular in Korea, most people couldn’t wrap their heads around it. Aegyo-sal is still very much around, but the modern take is contoured on subtly with a matte eyeshadow or pencil, not white shimmer or pencil, to give the illusion of puffiness.
While it has been popular to create aegyo-sal by applying a pale shimmery eyeshadow along the lower lashline, DAS recommends using a very thin brown pencil eyeliner to lightly draw on the shadow of your eyebags. The result? A much more natural (and trendy) finish.
